Press Release: On Thursday April 18, 2019, the Dutton & District Lions were taught how to properly use and maintain their new defibrillator.
Ray Ormerod from the St Thomas Fire Dept. and head of the Elgin-St. Thomas St. John's Ambulance Service, conducted a professional and entertaining training session so all members would be able to utilize this life saving devise.
The purchase was made possible by the net proceeds of the LIONS Annual Valentines Fish Fry.
The unit will be installed in the LIONS Den which serves as both the Lions meeting venue and the food booth for the Sons of Scotland Park, in Dutton.
"With all the LIONS activities and the close proximity to the base-ball diamonds, soccer fields and pool area, this is a perfect location for this unit." stated Lion President Duncan McCallum.
