Election - Candidate Information Training Opportunities

There have been significant changes to the Municipal Elections Act, and this session will be a great opportunity for those interested in being a candidate to hear more about the municipal election process and ask questions. 


A Municipal Candidate Information Session - will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the East Elgin Community Complex.  The Ministry of Municipal Affairs will be presenting informaton  on the Municpal Elections Act, campaign financing rules, roles and responsibilities of elected officials and staff.   Register at Evenbrite

An Online Training Session is also available providing an overview of what you need to know before you decide to run for office and what you should know to begin your candidacy. Register at AMO website.
