Request for Municipal Heritage Committee Members

REQUEST FOR MUNICIPAL HERITAGE COMMITTEE MEMBERS  - (Section 28, Ontario Heritage Act, 1990)

Council of the Municipality of Dutton Dunwich is requesting letters of intention from interested residents of the Municipality of Dutton Dunwich to be appointed to the newly created municipal heritage committee. The municipal heritage committee will advise Council on municipal heritage matters and assist Council in the delivery of its heritage conservation program.

If you wish to be considered as a member of the municipal heritage committee please submit your letter of intention stating the following: 1) your heritage education or training; 2) your heritage employment or volunteer experience; 3) your passion and interest in municipal heritage conservation; and, 4) your commitment to municipal initiatives. Members will be appointed to a maximum two year term. The committee will meet when required.

PLEASE SUBMIT your letter of intention, in writing to be appointed by Council to the municipal heritage committee by no later than Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at noon to the Municipal Administration Office, 199 Currie Road, Dutton ON N0L 1J0 or by email to Heather Bouw, Deputy Clerk at hbouw@duttondunwich.on.ca. Council will consider and appoint the municipal heritage committee members at a Council meeting on June 14, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the municipal heritage committee is available, Monday to Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. at the Municipality of Dutton Dunwich Administration Office, 199 Currie Road, Dutton ON.
