MUNICIPALITY OF DUTTON DUNWICH – SUPPORTS THE REOPENING OF LOCAL BUSINESSES.

The Ontario government recently allowed retailers, seasonal businesses and health and community service providers to reopen or expand their services on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 12:01 a.m., provided that the general trend on health indicators continues to improve as part of the first stage of the government's reopening framework.
The Municipality is supporting this measured approach which will ensure businesses and workplaces are safe for staff, customers and the general public.
To ensure that these first actions to reopen local businesses is a success the Municipality is encouraging all safety precautions suitable to individual business locations/properties be implemented and clearly posted for customers to follow.
The cooperation of the public is sincerely requested. Customers must abide by all safety procedures and protocols of individual local businesses and residents must also continue to adhere to public health measures, including practicing physical distancing or wearing a face covering when physical distancing is difficult or not possible, as well as regular handwashing or hand sanitizing and staying home when ill.
