Recreation Committee

The Recreation Committee meets once a month. 

The Municipality of Dutton Dunwich continues its commitment to recreation programs.  We are always recruiting members for the Recreation Committee, and those community members ready and willing to assist with various events throughout the year.

Purpose

We work together to ensure the quality of life for residents through our parks, recreation, heritage, culture, program services, festivals and community events. Developing and implementing recreation opportunities enhance individual wellbeing, community wellbeing, and the wellbeing of our built and natural environments. 

The Recreation Advisory Committee make recommendations to Council relating to the status of programs, to community needs, education in the community on recreational issues and increase public awareness and understanding of recreational opportunities.  

The committee also meets with groups, organizations and individuals interested or involved in recreation activities to determine areas of interest and work together to offer the best experiences in our municipality.
